Refund and Return Policy

At FB Workwear, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work, and should be read together with our Shipping Policy.

1. Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If an item has a major failure, you are entitled to choose a refund or a replacement, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure is minor, we will repair the item or, where appropriate, replace or refund it. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces your rights under the ACL.

In addition to your legal rights, we offer the change-of-mind arrangements set out below as a courtesy.

2. Items That Cannot Be Returned

Except where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply (for example, where an item is faulty or not as described), the following cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded for change of mind:

      Clearance items.

      Special-order items obtained specifically for you.

      Custom-decorated garments — items with branding, embroidery or printing are made to order and cannot be restocked.

If any of these items is faulty or does not match its description, your Australian Consumer Law rights still apply — please contact us.

3. Change of Mind, Wrong Size or Colour

If you change your mind, or ordered the wrong size or colour, we accept returns within 14 days of the date you received your order, subject to all of the following conditions:

      The item is completely unused and unworn, and packed in its original packaging with all original ticketing, tags, manuals and materials attached.

      Product packaging is undamaged — please open your items carefully, as we cannot accept change-of-mind returns where the product packaging has been damaged.

      A copy of your tax invoice or proof of purchase is included with the return.

      You have contacted us by phone or email to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) before sending anything back. The issue of a RAN is at our discretion.

      Once your return is approved, the item reaches us within 2 weeks. Late returns may be declined.

4. Change-of-Mind Costs

A $14.95 delivery fee is deducted from every change-of-mind refund to cover the non-recoverable cost of the original outbound delivery

 

These deductions apply to change-of-mind returns only — not to items that are faulty or not as described.

5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible so we can put it right.

1.    Contact us by email or phone to describe the issue and confirm any manufacturer warranty terms. Please include your proof of purchase and clear photos showing the fault, the size and colour, and the tag or label.

2.    For items confirmed as faulty, we will cover the reasonable cost of return postage and provide you with a return label.

3.    Once the fault is verified, we will provide a remedy in line with the Australian Consumer Law: for a major failure, your choice of a refund or a replacement; for a minor failure, a repair or, where appropriate, a replacement.

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty and faulty-goods claims.

6. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Once we have received and inspected your returned item, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days; your bank or card provider may take additional time to show the funds in your account. Any applicable change-of-mind deductions (see Section 4) are applied before the refund is issued.

7. How to Lodge a Return

1.    Contact us at Info@fbworkwear.com.au or 0403 774 791 with your order details to request a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN).

2.    Once you have your RAN, pack the item securely with your proof of purchase included.

3.    Write your RAN clearly on the parcel and send it to the return address below within the timeframe advised.
